Award-winning events venue, Dallas Burston Polo Club in Warwickshire, commissioned GG Glass to deliver a full replacement facade as part of a wider refurbishment programme of the clubs, Cloud Pavilion.
Description
The Cloud Pavilion is one of four venues at the stunning site, which set across 600 acres, hosts polo and entertainment events throughout the year. The building, designed in an old colonial style, required a series of improvement works to modernise the facade and structure, as part of a wider £122-million investment programme, which will include a new hotel and conference facility
The GG Glass team designed and installed a complete bespoke system, based on 3D visuals provided by the architect.
Under the £150,000 project, a Senior Aluminium System was installed alongside supporting aluminium sash work and manual swing doors, high spec double glazed units and glass balustrading.
All works where delivered on time across a four week schedule with fantastic feedback from the client.
Nick Dunn, Branch Manager at GG Glass commented: “This was a really interesting project designed to modernise a stunning pavilion which utilised a series of modern products and applications whilst retaining the original structure.
“We specified a high tech architectural glazing system using an aluminium profile that sets off the opening of the structure perfectly.’
