New works structural shopfront glazing however is only part of the comprehensive glass and glazing service We can provide, one such recent refurbishment project was completed by our Leeds branch.

Hull Combined Court of Justice Building

As a UK National Glazier, We were delighted to work with The Shaylor Group in order to complete the recent project for Hull Combined Court of Justice in Hull City Centre. This iconic circular building a stunning and eye-catching domed roof needed all 120 of the failed and misted up double glazed units replacing.

We installed replacement double glazed units made with 7.5 mm anti-bandit glass and 6 mm clear toughened glass with a clear bomb blast safety film applied to the inner face.

Some of the units also had a special sandblasted design. To complete the project all the Curtain Walling cappings needed to be removed and lifted down before being shot blasted and re powder coated.

It wasn’t the easiest of locations to work on, with all the materials needing to be lifted up and down by crane. We completed this over 6 separate weekends, as well as erecting a full height scaffolding around the atrium.

Our versatile and qualified team can take on just about any kind of glazing project that requires a specialist treatment or finish. Working to client’s performance specifications we can, for instance, provide an extensive range of solar control and security filming including bomb blast mitigation film such as that supplied in the Hull Combined Court of Justice.
