GG Glass has announced the appointment of a new national Health & Safety Compliance Manager, Paula Corrigan.
A group wide role, Paula will oversee the firms Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental operation including planning, implementing, monitoring and reviewing of all policies and procedures, completing inspections and audits as well as pre-qualification questionnaires.
An experienced health and safety professional, Paula began her career in health and safety over 15 years ago after completing her NEBOSH General Certificate and is currently undertaking her NEBOSH Diploma.
Paula commented: “GG Glass is a fantastic business which is continually growing and evolving. With more team members on board, diversification into different sectors of the construction industry and now with complete geographical coverage, it’s imperative that a robust health and safety strategy is in place.
“My personal aspirations for the role are long term and are centred around continual improvement, raising the profile of health, safety and well-being throughout the business; become certified under ISO 9001 (Quality), 14001 (Environment) and soon to be 45001 (Health & Safety), and ensure GG Glass and Glazing receives a recognised safety award by the end of 2020.”
