GG Glass were proud to be chosen to install various high profile glazing works for key areas in Europe’s largest city centre shopping development…Leeds Trinity.
Top Shop / Topman, River Island, Warehouse, Urban outfitters, Superdry and Claire’s accessories were all among clients who turned to GG Glass & Glazing to supply and install their internal and external glazing for their flagship stores in the new Leeds Trinity shopping centre.
Top shop / Topman and River Island both have very large bolted glass fascia’s which provide an impressive frontage to the new development.
The Leeds depot of GG Glass installed the high specification toughened laminated panels secured with SS Spider fixings and incorporating structural fins to Top shop / Topman; they also installed the powder coated aluminium framework on the 1st floor which appears to be a shopfront but opens like a large door to enable changes to the window display.
At River Island 12.8mm laminated was used with cross reeded float glass to upper panels formed by bonding flat powder coated decorative bars to the glass and installed into a powder coated frame to give an Industrial look with oversize Entrance doors.
Warehouse opted for 10.8mm laminated for the shopfront and a large piece of 19mm clear toughened which was placed in the floor over a bespoke rug they had made which has a great visual impact.
Work was also carried out for Urban Outfitters (All 17.5mm Toughened laminated) and Clare’s Accessories (10.8mm clear laminated). Superdry had 21.5mm clear toughened laminated with no frame, supported and fixed to SS spider fixings.
Work is soon to begin on Oasis, another high profile very impressive works.
